ASHLAND – Christoffer Bisbo knocked in a golden goal for Great Falls with 67 seconds to spare in the second overtime Saturday night at Raider Stadium, delivering a 2-1 knockout blow to the Southern Oregon University men's soccer team.

With the decision, the Raiders (10-8 overall, 5-8 Cascade Conference) were officially eliminated from playoff contention and the Argos (9-5, 7-3) reserved a spot in the upcoming eight-team CCC tournament.

Bisbo's goal was the product of an Anderson Cardoso throw-in from near the corner, which Bisbo gathered before turning around and firing an eight-yard liner into the back of the net.

UGF's Luis Torres had to score on a rebound-putback in the 85th minute to make overtime possible. Anthony Mota was credited with the assist.

SOU went up in the 47th minute, when Diego Buenrostro dribbled all the way from midfield into the box and buried a lined shot from straight on into the right side of goal. It was his eighth score of the season.

After he scored, though, the Argos turned up the pressure. They maintained a 21-3 advantage in shots from that point on, forcing Jonathan Morales to make eight saves.

UGF put 10 shots on goal in the contest to SOU's three. Brisbo's goal was his third of the season, and Torres notched his sixth.

The Raiders are tentatively scheduled to end their season with a nonleague contest against Oregon Tech on Friday.
