KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.- Makenzie Forsyth scored from 30 yards out in the 27th minute as

Eastern Oregon improved to 4-1 in Cascade Conference play and 9-1 overall with a 1-0 win

over Oregon Tech (2-3 CCC, 4-5-1) Friday afternoon at Trevor Derrah Field.

In the 27th minute Makenzie Forsyth found a loose ball in front of the Oregon Tech goal and

scored on a high arching shot from 30 yards out for the game winner, her fourth goal of the

year.

Tech turned the tables in the second half but couldn’t find the equalizer falling by the 1-0 score.

The Owls held a 7-2 advantage in shots in the second half and a 4-1 edge in shots on frame

however good keeper play from Mountaineers Goalie Jessica Parker kept Tech off the

scoreboard. Parker was credited with 4 saves all in the second half to pick up the shutout win.
