Lady Yotes Top No. 3 Carroll at Montana Invitational
MISSOULA, Mont. - Three Top-25 performances, including a fourth-place finish from Amy Pfaff, helped the College of Idaho to a Montana Invitational third-place finish at the UM Golf Course.

The Lady Yotes finished the meet with 92 team points - behind Top-10 NCAA Division I regionally-ranked foes in Montana State (30) and Idaho (43) - but well ahead of Mountain Region No. 13 Montana (103) and NAIA No. 3 ranked Carroll (114).
Pfaff, who placed second in each of C of I's first two meets, was the top NAIA finisher, clocking a 5,000-meter time of 18:10.10, behind Idaho's Kinsey Gomez (17:11.62) and the Montana State tandem of Alyssa Snyder (17:59.22) and Chiara Warner (18:06.58). The sophomore finished four seconds clear of Leah Esposito of Carroll, an outdoor track national champion.
Ruth Lewinski continued her big start to 2015, placing ninth (18:23.98), while Lila Klopfenstein took 25th (19:01.07). Three other C of I runners were in the Top-35 - Emily Hawgood in 29th (19:15.22), Kaitlyn Schut in 31st (19:16.66) and Annelise Eagleton in 32nd (19:20.85).
C of I returns to action in two weeks in Lewiston, competing at the Inland Empire Classic.
