RESULTS
PORTLAND, Ore. - Continuing their dominance from day one, Lewis-Clark State claimed the team title at the Warner Pacific Invite held at a sunny Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland.
The Warriors grew stronger as the tournament wore on, posting their best round of the event on the final day. Their round three of score of 288 put them 4-under par and 15 strokes better than their closest competitor. The individual leaderboard told the tale, with the LC trio of Chris Lien, Kurt Simmons, and Cole Lorenzo finishing 1-2-3. Lien claimed the individual medal at 7-under 212.
Cascade Conference stalwarts Oregon Tech placed second as a team with a total score of 885 (296-300-289). Houston Knox and Josh Whitley paced the Owls at even par 219 and tied for 4th place.
Jacob Berg represented host Warner Pacific by matching the OIT duo, tying for 4th at even par.
Simpson University held on to third place through round three with a total score of 898 (301-297-300). Round one leaders Rocky Mountain placed 4th.
Rounding out the team scores are Spokane CC (908), Great Falls (928), Walla Walla CC (931), Corban (934), Warner Pacific (938), Northwest Christian (943), Walla Walla (948), and College of Idaho (956).
