Evergreen Scores Three to Move Past Carroll in the Quarterfinals

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – After a scoreless first half, The Evergreen State College found their offense and scored three goals to move past Carroll College 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the CCC Men’s Soccer Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, on Wednesday.
Evergreen’s Charlie Kramer broke the tie with an unassisted goal in the 54
th minute, before midfielder Willie Spurr added two more goals to secure the Geoducks victory over the Fighting Saints.
Evergreen out shot Carroll 22-13 while keeper Angel Guerra tallied four saves to earn the shutout.
Evergreen will wait for the final two quarterfinal games later today to see who their next opponent will be.
