SPRINGFIELD, Ore. –
When regulation and two overtime periods wasn’t enough to determine a winner between Southern Oregon and Rocky Mountain in the quarterfinals of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Soccer Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, it came down to a penalty shootout which ended 5-4 in favor of the Raiders.

As Southern Oregon took the lead, keeper Kylie Molzen recorded a save to the right, securing her team’s victory and their place in the semifinals.

After regulation, SOU won in shots attempted, edging out Rocky Mountain 10-6. They collected two more shots in overtime, including an attempt that just hit the outside of the post.

The Raiders will wait till the final games of the night to determine who they will face in the semifinals tomorrow evening.
