Rocky Mountain Earns Spot in the Final after a Penalty Shootout

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. –
Rocky Mountain will make the championship game of the 2015 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament presented by U.S. Bank in their first year as members, advancing past The Evergreen State College on penalty kicks 0-0 (4-3).
 
Rocky Mountain scored late in the second half on an unassisted shot by Luce Donavan landed in the back of the net after Evergreen’s goalie collided with another player in the box.
 
Moments later, the Geoducks found a way to tie the game, scoring an unassisted goal four minutes later by Crisantos Chavez.
 
Neither team could find an edge in overtime, sending the game to PKs. Rocky Mountain will play Great Falls in the men’s championship on Nov. 14 at 12 p.m.
