Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period Oct. 26-Nov. 1.
Joel Yellow Owl
Men’s Basketball
Oregon Tech’s Joel Yellow Owl has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Yellow Owl, a junior from Zillah, Wash., had a huge weekend in making his Oregon Tech debut, Friday he had a double-double with a game high 21 points and 10 rebounds he followed that up Saturday with 32 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists leading the Owls to a 2-0 start.

Jordan Farr
Men’s Soccer - Defensive
Corban’s Jordan Farr has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Farr, a sophomore from Turner, Ore., made six key saves in Friday's win at Northwest and then two more in a shutout over Evergreen on Saturday, leading Corban to a 16-2 record overall in the regular season with 12 shutouts to his name.

Ian Ooko
Men’s Soccer- Offensive
Great Falls’ Ian Ooko has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Ooko, a junior from Nairobi, Kenya, helped bring the Argos out of their scoring doldrum with a goal in each of their last three games. He earned his first career hat trick against Multnomah and averaged two goals a game in the team's run up to the CCC playoffs.

Kylie Porter
Volleyball – Attacker
College of Idaho’s Kylie Porter has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Porter, a senior from Boise, Idaho, had a ridiculous weekend for the Yotes - dominating on the long road trip to two of the tougher venues in the CCC...Porter combined for 41 kills on only 69 swings (.507 hitting percentage), while averaging over a block per set.
The 28 kills vs. #14 ranked SOU marked the most by a C of I player since 2002 (which is amazing considering the caliber of players that have come through the program over the past decade)

Kilee Lopez
Volleyball - Defensive
College of Idaho’s Kilee Lopez has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
Lopez, a sophomore from Caldwell, Idaho, averaged five digs per set in the Yotes two road matches against Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon.

Lauren McGowne
Volleyball - Setter
Southern Oregon’s Lauren McGowne has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.
McGowne, a junior from Coos Bay, Ore., maintained her conference lead in assists per set (11.79 in CCC play) with 50-plus in three straight matches. She also eclipsed the 3,000-assist mark for her career against College of Idaho.

Courtney Setzer
Women’s Basketball
Southern Oregon’s Courtney Setzer has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Setzer, a freshman from Central Point, Ore., recorded double-doubles in each her her first two collegiate games while filling in for injured All-CCC player Carly Meister. Her 27 points on 11-for-16 shooting against Simpson were the most for a Raider in an opener in seven years. She also had six blocks in two games.

Sheyenne Brusven
Women’s Soccer Defensive
Corban’s Sheyenne Brusven has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Brusven, a sophomore from Silverton, Ore., registered four saves in the win against Northwest on Friday, helping Corban secure its spot in the CCC Tournament. Made one more save in the win over Evergreen on Saturday.

Crystal Schuder
Women’s Soccer Offensive
Eastern Oregon’s Crystal Schuder has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Schuder, a senior from Penticton, BC, racked up three more goals last week. She now has 14 on the year.
Honorable mention: None
