NAIA and Stretch Internet Announce 2015 Fall National Championships Schedule

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and Stretch Internet have announced the video-streaming schedule for the 2015 Fall NAIA National Championships. The following events will offer live video and audio streaming on the official video home of the Association at NAIANetwork.com: the NAIA Men’s & Women’s Cross Country National Championships (highlight show); the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship; the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship; and the NAIA Volleyball National Championship. The NAIA Network had over 113,000 unique views during the course of the 2014-15 academic year across 16 NAIA National Championships. That viewership was an increase of more than 29% from the previous year. The NAIA Network is dedicated to showcasing all video-related content for the Association, member conferences and institutions – more than 10,000 live and on-demand events this year.
The NAIA Network features live statistics, game archives and high-definition video-streaming available on mobile devices, tablets and laptops. All broadcasts will incorporate multiple-camera angles and expert commentary. The NAIA Network is the official hub for live and on-demand NAIA events for all 23 member conferences and nearly 260 member institutions.
New to the NAIA Network, the NAIA will offer a day subscription on select events. That pricing level will be combined with the “all-tournament” and “all-year” pass. Now, fans have more options to watch the most exciting championship action in small college athletics.
For the first time in the history of the NAIA, a post-race highlight show will be free to all fans through the NAIA Network. The event takes place on Nov. 21 in Charlotte, N.C., at McAlpine Creek Park for the first time. Fans will be able to view the show no later than noon CST on Sunday, Nov. 22.
The single-elimination men's and women's soccer national championships run from Nov. 30 – Dec. 5. The 16-team men's event takes place for the second-straight year in Delray Beach, Fla., at the Seacrest Soccer Complex. The 16-team women's tournament will be contested in Orange Beach, Ala., at the Orange Beach Sportsplex for the fourth-straight year. Both championships will broadcast all 15 matches on the NAIA Network with the title contests scheduled for Dec. 5.
For the third-consecutive year, pool play matches will be included in video menu for the volleyball national championship. The schedule from Sioux City, Iowa, includes 36 pool play matches on three courts played from Dec. 1 – 3 and single-elimination action running from Dec. 4 – 5. The national championship final will be broadcast on a separate platform, with details to be announced at a later date.
