COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. – Warner Pacific College shoots 59% to down Walla Walla University, 97-34. 
 
Warner Pacific (8-1, 4-0) came out from the opening tip full court pressing Walla Walla, (0-9, 0-4) causing two 10 second violations as well as jumping out to a quick 19-0 lead. 
 
The Lady Knights controlled the opening quarter and led the Lady Wolves 21-3 at the end of the first. 
 
Walla Walla University couldn't quite get their offense going in the first half. They turned the ball over 14 times and only shot 19% from the field. Warner Pacific shot the ball at 54% and scored 15 fast break points to open up a 33 point lead over the Wolves at halftime. 
 
Daesha Jackson led the Knights with 10 points and Lauren Pernu led the Wolves with 5 points and 4 rebounds as Walla Walla trailed Warner Pacific College 11-44 at the end of the half. 
 
The Wolves couldn't quite create a run in the 3rd quarter and with the loss of key player Kassidy Kuykendall, due to injury, the Knights lead would grow as they remained ahead 77-24 at the end of the quarter. 
 
In the 4th quarter, Kuykendall would return for the Wolves, but it wouldn't be enough. The final score: 97-34 Warner Pacific.
 
Kasara Brandenburg of the Knights would lead all scorers with 17 points followed by Lindsay Loe with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Hannah Mocaby and Taylor Howlett contributed 5 steals each.
 
Lauren Pernu and Charity Underwood both scored 9 points each for the Wolves, with Pernu adding 6 rebounds.
