Adidas Team of the Week Announced
LA GRANDE, Ore. –The Northwest Christian University men’s basketball team has been named the “Adidas Team of the Week” for December 22-28, the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced today.
The Corban University men’s basketball team received a lump a coal in their holiday stocking courtesy of a deep last-second three-pointer from Northwest Christian University's Javonte Byrd to seal the 63-60 victory in a pre-Christmas CCC tilt last Tuesday. For NCU, it is the team's second-straight game in which a three-pointer within the last two seconds of the contest won the game for the Beacons
Northwest Christian (10-4, 4-1 CCC) will return to action Dec. 30 as they host CCC newcomer Walla Walla University.
