KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Friday that 588 Women’s Soccer student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Goshen (Ind.) leads all programs with 14 individuals on the list.
The Cascade Conference place 48 student athletes on the prestigious list including; University of Great Falls (8), College of Idaho (7), Carroll College (6), Corban University (6), Southern Oregon University (5), Northwest University (4), Northwest Christian University (4), Eastern Oregon (3), Oregon Tech (3), Warner Pacific (2).
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
