The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of February 2 – 8.

Nemanja Grujicic
Men’s Basketball
Northwest’s Nemanja Grujicic has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Grujicic, a senior forward from Ratkovo, Serbia, made important plays in the NU win over No. 17 SOU on Friday and played a key role in the victory over OIT on Saturday.
 
He averaged 18 points with eight rebounds on the weekend. It was his first games back after sitting out the Evergreen game with a concussion.

Travis Simpson
Men’s Indoor Field
Eastern Oregon’s Travis Simpson has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Simpson, a senior from Redmond, Ore., set a personal best in the high jump as he cleared 2.11 meter (6-11) to win the High Jump at the Jackson's Invitational.
 
 This is the third best mark on the All-Time list at EOU. It is also the third best mark in the NAIA this season. The jump was an NAIA "A" Standard. Simpson also finished fourth in the long jump.

Dakotah Webb
Men’s Indoor Track
Oregon Tech’s Dakotah Webb has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Webb, a freshman from Grants Pass, Ore., won the 1K event with his time of 2:31.6, breaking the school record by two full seconds and earning the National qualifying time.
 
He is the first male qualifier for OIT in Indoor in two years.

Carly Meister
Women’s Basketball
Southern Oregon’s Carly Meister has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Meister, a senior forward from Elma, Wash., totaled her second and third double-doubles of the season, averaging 26 points and 10.5 rebounds on the weekend.
 
Her 32 points in Friday's win were a career high. She had scored 20-plus points in just two games this season coming into Friday.

Ashanna Hodge
Women’s Indoor Field
Eastern Oregon’s Ashanna Hodge has been named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Ashanna, a junior from Bridgetown, Barbados, set two school records on the weekend. The first came in the triple jump, Hodge set the EOU school record as she jumped 10.63 (34-10.5) to win the event at the Jackson's Invitational.
 
In the 60 meter hurdles, Hodge set the EOU school record running a time of 9.36. She also anchored the 4x400 meter relay team that hit the NAIA "B" standard as they ran 4:03.38.

Megan Sullivan
Women’s Indoor Track
Eastern Oregon’s Megan Sullivan has been named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the week.
 
Sullivan, a junior from Grangeville, Idaho, hit three NAIA "B" standards this weekend at the Jackson's Invitational. On Friday, Sullivan hit the NAIA "B" standard and broke the EOU school record in the 200 Meter dash as she clocked a time of 25.42.
 
She followed that up by hitting the "B" standard in the 400 meter, by running a time of 58.66. Sullivan led off the 4x400 meter relay team that ran a time of 4:03.38, to hit the NAIA "B" standard.
 
Sullivan also ran the 60 meter dash in a time of 8.18, the 7th fastest on the all-time list at EOU.
