The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of March 16–22.

Kyle Garvin
Baseball – Pitcher
College of Idaho’s Kyle Garvin has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Garvin, a senior pitcher from Meridian, Idaho, tossed a complete game six-hitter, allowing just one unearned run and striking out nine in a road victory over No. 20 ranked British Columbia.

Dominic Morris
Baseball
Oregon Tech’s Domonic Morris has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Morris, a sophomore outfielder from Kealakekua, Hawaii, had the best weekend of his career hitting 4 -doubles, 2-home-runs, scoring 8-runs with 9-RBI and a slugging percentage of 1.250.

Jeremie Eloy
Men’s Golf
Warner Pacific’s Jeremie Eloy has been named the Red Lion Men’s Golfer of the Week.
 
Eloy, a junior from Montpellier, France, won the WPC Shootout by seven strokes thanks to a 4-under 68 in round two at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland.
 
It is the first ever victory for the junior from France.

Josh Koch
Men’s Outdoor Field
Concordia’s Josh Koch has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Koch, a freshman from Dayton, Ore., nabbed an 'A' qualifier in the shot put with the NAIA's No. 1 mark after recording a 51-5 (15.67m) toss at the Portland State Univ. Rose City Preview on Saturday.
 
Koch's throw landed the freshman at No. 7 on CU's all-time outdoor performance list (trailing four former NAIA national champions).

Isaac Updike
Men’s Outdoor Track
Eastern Oregon’s Isaac Updike has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Updike, a senior from Ketchikan, Alaska, hit the NAIA "A" standard in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. He finished the event in a time of 9:08.38, to win the event at the EOU Team Challenge.
 
Updike's time of 9:08.38 is the fastest time in the NAIA this season.

Jessi Duncan
Softball - Pitcher
Oregon Tech’s Jessi Duncan has been named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Duncan, a senior pitcher from Battle Ground, Wash., had a great weekend in the circle for Oregon Tech. In her first game she went the distance on a 1-hit shut-out.
 
 She entered the next game in the 2nd inning with OIT down 6-3 and pitched the final 5.1 innings allowing 1-run OIT on 5-hits as OIT beat Corban 8-7 to improve to 8-3 on the season.

Kate Santos
Softball
Concordia’s Kate Santos has been named the Red Lion Softball Player of the Week.
 
Santos, a senior catcher from Gladstone, Ore., hit a cool .500 in six games last week with a slugging percentage of 1.273. Santos hit home runs in 4 different games to help CU to a 5-1 week with all six games played on the road.
 
The all-time home run hitter for the Cavs drove in at least three runs in four separate games and tallied a team-leading 14 RBI and nine runs scored on the week. Nine of her 11 hits went or extra bases.

Brooke Spencer
Women’s Golf
Corban’s Brooke Spencer has been named the Red Lion Women’s Golfer of the Week.
 
Spencer, a sophomore from Oakland, Ore., battled the elements over the weekend at the Warner Pacific Spring Shootout, winning the tournament with a two-round total of 177.
 
After shooting a 90 in round one, she carded an 87 in round two en route to her individual medalist honors.

McKenzie Warren
Women’s Outdoor Field
Concordia’s McKenzie Warren has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Warren, a junior from Boring, Ore., won all three events at the Portland State Univ. Rose City Preview on Saturday.
Warren hit NAIA 'A' qualifiers in the shot put and the discus throw and the 'B' standard in the hammer throw.
 
Her shot put (46-7 1/4, 14.20m) and discus throw (155-8, 47.46m) marks currently top the NAIA Outdoor performance list while her hammer throw (159-7, 48.65m) sits at No. 2 in the country.

Amelia Maguin
Women’s Outdoor Track
Southern Oregon’s Amelia Maguin has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the week.
 
Maguin, a senior from Fernley, Nev., retained the No. 1 spot on the NAIA 400-meter hurdles list while breaking her own school record by just over a tenth of a second with a time of 59.07 which made her a winner in the 22-person race.
 
She had already been an automatic qualifier in that event, but she also became a provisional qualifier by placing sixth of 34 in the 100-meter hurdles in 14.59 seconds.
