The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of March 2-9.

Kyle Garvin
Baseball – Pitcher
College of Idaho’s Kyle Garvin has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Garvin, a senior pitcher from Meridian, Idaho, recorded one of the best outings in the over 100-year history of the program, taking a perfect game into the 9th inning (retired the first 25 batters in a row), before settling for a one-hit shutout of Dickinson State (first complete game one-hitter by a C of I pitcher since 2002)...struck out seven to pick up his fourth win

Seth Brown
Baseball
Lewis-Clark State College’s Seth Brown has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Brown, a junior first baseman from Medford, Ore., went 6-for-12 during the series with a home run in each game and a total of nine runs batted in.
 
He leads the team with seven homers this season. His sixth-inning grand slam in the second game on Saturday ended up being the game winner as the team trailed 2-1 at the time.

Lucy Baldovino
Softball - Pitcher
Concordia’s Lucy Baldovino has been named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Baldovino, a senior pitcher from Medford, Ore., improved to 9-0 on the season for the No. 15-ranked Cavaliers.
 
Baldovino logged 20 innings and allowed just 4 runs over the span. She leads or shares the CCC lead in total wins, innings pitched and appearances.

Meghan Luebbert
Softball
Concordia’s Meghan Luebbert has been named the Red Lion Softball Player of the Week.
 
Luebbert, a sophomore outfielder from Sandy, Ore., the team's leadoff hitter, hit .450 in a 5-1 week for the Cavs with 5 of her 9 hits going for extra bases. Luebbert smacked two homers and added three doubles for a .900 slugging percentage for the week while leading th team in runs scored and RBI.
 
For the season she is ranked second in the CCC in hits, runs and RBI.
