The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of April 6-12.

Jason Snodgrass
Baseball – Pitcher
Concordia’s Jason Snodgrass has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Snodgrass, a senior pitcher from Ramona, Calif., took a no hitter into the 9th inning in a 3-0 win against Simpson on Saturday. Snodgrass struck out 10 and walked one before settling for the 1 hitter.
 
Snodgrass retired 24 of the first 25 batter he faced, serving up a walk in the third as the only Simpson baserunner until the final frame.

Ty Jackson
Baseball
Lewis-Clark State’s Ty Jackson has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Jackson, a junior pitcher from Kennewick, Wash., pitched a complete game while hitting two home runs in LCSC's opener against Corban on Friday.
 
In the NAIA West series overall, he went 8-for-17 with eight RBIs and eight runs scored.

Justin Ramirez
Men’s Outdoor Field
Concordia’s Justin Ramirez has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Ramirez, a senior from San Luis Obispo, Calif., Moved up to No. 4 on the NAIA performance list with a career best 1704 (51.92m) in the discus on Friday. Has NAIA outdoor 'A' qualifiers in the discus and the hammer throw.
 
Currently holds the No. 1 mark in the CCC in the hammer, the No. 2 mark in the discus and is No. 8 in the shot put.

Ryan Rosenau
Men’s Outdoor Track
Eastern Oregon’s Ryan Rosenau has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Rosenau, a junior from Cashmere, Wash., won both of his events he competed in at the WAR VIII Washington vs. Oregon Meet. In the 400 meter hurdles, Rosenau hit the NAIA "A" standard and the second fastest time in EOU School History.
 
In the 110 meter hurdles, Rosenau ran his second fastest time of the season.

Rylee Carleton
Softball - Pitcher
Oregon Tech’s Rylee Carleton has been named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Carleton, a senior pitcher from Klamath Falls, Ore., went 4-0 on the week with two crucial wins against No. 23 Corban, a big win at SOU, and wrapped up the week with a shut-out victory on senior day to improve to 13-3 on the season.

Tasha Sulvius
Softball
Oregon Tech’s Tasha Silvius has been named the Red Lion Softball Player of the Week.
 
Silvius, a senior infielder from Beaverton, Ore., hit 3-home runs (including a grand slam that propelled OIT to a come from behind win at SOU), she added 3-doubles with 13 RBI.
 
On her final regular season home games on senior day, she went 7-7, drove in six runs, and hit two home runs.

Joelle Swanson
Women’s Outdoor Field
Oregon Tech’s Joelle Swanson has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Swanson, a senior from Grants Pass, Ore., threw a career best 152-0 and now ranks No.1 in NAIA by nearly a foot and a half. She is now No. 2 on the Oregon Tech All-Time list. Swanson outdistanced the next closest opponent by nearly 24 feet to win the event.

Amelia Maguin
Women’s Outdoor Track
Southern Oregon’s Amelia Maguin has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the week.
 
Maguin, a senior from Fernley, Nev., hit an NAIA automatic qualifying standard in a third discipline Saturday, the 400-meter dash (she'd already done so in the 100- and 400-meter hurdles).
 
She won that race to reach No. 6 on the NAIA performance list, she won the 100-meter hurdles, and she was the runner-up of 38 entries in the 200-meter race.
