Adidas Team of the Week Announced
LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Concordia softball team has been named the Adidas Team of the Week for April 6-12.
The Cavaliers started the week splitting the series with Northwest winning game one 5-3 before dropping their only loss of the week 9-3.
Concordia went on to sweep College of Idaho winning game one 6-5, and game two 13-5 on Friday before ending the weekend with two wins over Eastern Oregon (11-3, 8-5).
The Cavaliers improved their record to 36-12 overall and 17-5 in conference play. Their 36
th win sets a new school record for regular season wins, surpassing the mark set by both the 2010 and 2013 teams.
Concordia returns to action with a double header against Northwest Christian on Friday and Corban on Saturday.
