SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - The team title is all but secured but the individual championship remains up for grabs after the first two rounds of the Northwest Christian University Invitational which took place on Monday at Springfield Golf Club. Concordia University holds a 45-stroke lead for the team crown while Concordia's Abby Brennand and Corban's Brooke Spencer (pictured) are tied for first-place.

Concordia fired a two round score of 317-319--636 as they secured a comfortable lead over second-place College of Idaho (342-339--681) with 18 holes remaining on Tuesday. Corban is third with a 707 followed by Oregon Tech at 708 and Warner Pacific at 735.

Spencer started off the day with an impressive one-under 71 in the AM round and held on to her share of the lead with an 80 in the afternoon, giving her a 151 on the day. Brennan shot 75-76 to keep pace.

Concordia's Kelsey Whiles sits four shots back in third place (78-77--155) and Janelle Ferlan from Oregon Tech is fourth (81-76--157). Lexi Oropeza rounds out the top-five with a 79-80--159 representing the College of Idaho.
