The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of April 13-19.

Jason Snodgrass
Baseball – Pitcher
Concordia’s Jason Snodgrass has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Snodgrass, a senior pitcher from Ramona, Calif., took a no hitter into the 6th against College of Idaho on Saturday. The Coyotes finished with two hits and a 0.83 batting average against Snodgrass, who struck out 5 and did not walk a batter.
 
The outing was the senior's second straight shutout. In addition, Snodgrass scored the game-winning run against PLU on Tuesday, coming in as a pinch runner in the 9th inning.

Trent Calmer
Baseball
Concordia’s Trent Calmer has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Calmer, a junior outfielder from Beaverton, Ore., went on a tear last week with a .631 batting average, collecting 11 hits in 17 at bats. With four straight multi-hit games, Calmer has climbed into the NAIA West leader with a .431 batting average.
 
Calmer added three walks for a robust .714 on-base percentage while hitting leadoff for the Cavs. The junior also put down two sacrifice bunts and stole a base in his lone attempt.

Kade Crossland
Men’s Golf
Corban’s Kade Crossland has been named the Red Lion Men’s Golfer of the Week.
 
Crossland, a freshman from Buhl, Idaho, won his fourth tournament of the year in impressive fashion, shooting six-under par for the tournament and winning comfortably by eight strokes. While shooting 70 in each round, he's now shot under par in 14 of 21 rounds this year.
 
Crossland now ranks 4th nationally in the NAIA with a scoring average of 71.33

Markus Sanders
Men’s Outdoor Field
Southern Oregon’s Markus Sanders has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Sanders, a senior from Modesto, Calif., won the hammer (193 feet 3 inches) and the discus (176-9), missing school records by less than two feet in both disciplines and improving 'A' marks he had already established.
 
He shot to Nos. 2 and 3 on those respective NAIA performance lists, upping his previous hammer mark by over 14 feet.

Isaac Updike
Men’s Outdoor Track
Eastern Oregon’s Isaac Updike has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Updike, a senior from Ketchikan, Alaska, won his section of the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Mt. SAC Relays. In the process, he broke the EOU school record and hit the NAIA "A" standard. He ran a time of 8:54.74 in the event.
 
This is the third fastest time in the NAIA this season.

Kelli Peckham
Softball - Pitcher
Northwest’s Kelli Peckham has been named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Peckham, a junior pitcher from Spokane, Wash., completed her season with an impressive 6-hit win over No. 23 Corban on Friday and then pitched her second straight complete game in earning a win against NCU in the Eagles' final doubleheader of the season.
 
She gave up just one walk in two games and her 12 strikeouts gives her 62 for the CCC season, No. 5 in the conference.

Tara Moates
Softball
Oregon Tech’s Tara Moates has been named the Red Lion Softball Player of the Week.
 
Moates, a freshman infielder from Klamath Falls, Ore., went 12-for-15 this weekend with four home runs and 14 RBI. She upped her season batting average to .524 (3rd in the NAIA) Her 88 hits this season leads the NAIA and puts her tied for second on the OIT All-Time hits list just behind 2-Tme All-American Torrie Phililppi who had 93.
 
Her 13 home runs ties her for 5th All-Time at Oregon Tech with another All-American Amanda Doherty.

Brooke Spencer
Women’s Golf
Corban’s Brooke Spencer has been named the Red Lion Women’s Golfer of the Week.
 
Spencer, a sophomore from Oakland, Ore., set a new school record when she fired off a 71 in round one at the Northwest Christian Invite on Monday, setting the stage for her tournament victory by six strokes. With a three-round mark of 229, she broke her own career-best three-round total.
 
It was her second tournament victory of the 2014-15 campaign.

Talitha Fagen
Women’s Outdoor Field
Eastern Oregon’s Talitha Fagen has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Fagen, a junior from Fruitland, Idaho, broke her own school record in the women's pole vault on Saturday at the Spike Arlt Invite as she cleared 3.75 meters (12-3 1/2) to win the event.
 
Her vault is the second best in the NAIA this season.

Amelia Maguin
Women’s Outdoor Track
Southern Oregon’s Amelia Maguin has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the week.
 
Maguin, a senior from Fernley, Nev., ran the 200 meters in 24.60 seconds, setting an SOU school record and qualifying automatically for the NAIA Championships in a fourth event.
 
She later did it in a fifth event, helping the 4x800 relay team to an 'A' and another school record in 9:22.16. Maguin also won the 100 hurdles in 14.88 and was part of a victorious 4x100 team (49.97).
