LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Oregon Tech softball team has been named the Adidas Team of the Week for April 13-19.
The Owls spilt a two-game series against College of Idaho on Friday before finishing the regular season with a sweep of Eastern Oregon on Saturday in a series that saw five home runs for OIT.
OIT finishes the regular season with an overall record of 38-12 and a conference record of 22-6.
With their final two wins, the Owls clinch at least part of the Cascade Conference regular season championship with a chance for the outright title if Southern Oregon can take one game from Concordia in Friday’s double header.
Oregon Tech will play host to the CCC Championship tournament that is slated for May 1-3.
