U.S. Bank Continues Partnership with CCC
LAGRANDE, Ore. – U.S. Bank, one of the preeminent financial institutions in the United States will be the Official Bank of the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) through 2018-19, CCC Commissioner Rob Cashell announced.
“It is an honor to be associated with an organization that shares our passion,” said Cashell. “U.S. Bank recognizes and supports our 15 institutions and nearly 3,000 student athletes as they participate in intercollegiate athletics and strive for a high level of academic achievement.”
The CCC’s 11 full and four associate member institutions, based in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Canada, will compete for CCC championships in 13 sports this upcoming year including men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, baseball, men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s track and field. Each championship will be headlined by U.S. Bank as “The Presenting Sponsor.”

The U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference award recognizes the outstanding achievements in the classroom by CCC student athletes. In order to receive the award a student athlete must be of sophomore standing, have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher and have been in residence at their institution for the previous three terms or two semesters. In 2014-15, 592 student athletes earned the honor.
