Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
LA GRANDE, Ore. - The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period August 17-23.
Corynn Kopra
Volleyball – Attacker
Southern Oregon’s Corynn Kopra has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
In her first court time at SOU and first action anywhere since 2011, Kopra, a sophomore from Gresham, Ore., hammered 54 kills (3.6/set) on a .286 attacking average to lead the Raiders to their best start in 10 years.
Her finest hour was in SOU's upset of eighth-ranked Vanguard, when she became the first Raider to 20 kills this season on just 38 attacks. Kopra added 2.4 digs/set in four matches.

Kilee Lopez
Volleyball - Defensive
The College of Idaho’s Kilee Lopez has been named the Red Lion Defensive Player of the Week.
Lopez, a sophomore from Caldwell, Idaho, leads the CCC in digs per set after a monster first weekend, averaging nearly six digs per set
She recorded back-to-back 30 dig matches against two GSAC teams.

Lauren McGowne
Volleyball - Setter
Southern Oregon’s Lauren McGowne has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.
Orchestrating the attack in four straight wins and two defeats of ranked teams, McGowne, a junior from Coos Bay, Ore., assisted at a rate of 12.2 per set -- over two more than what she averaged her first two seasons at SOU.
She helped the Raiders hit .237 as a team in the wins and also contributed 1.27 digs per set.
