Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period September 7-13.
Max Hampton
Men’s Cross Country
College of Idaho’s Max Hampton has been named the Red Lion Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Hampton, a senior from Eagle, Idaho, won his second-straight race, cruising to a win at the Chukar Classic on an extremely slow 4-mile course with a time of 21:10.

Admir Selimovic
Men’s Soccer - Defensive
College of Idaho’s Admir Selimovic has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Selimovic, a junior from Boise, Idaho, was an anchor for the C of I defense that recorded back-to-back shutouts to open the league season...was C of I's top winner of 50-50 balls; added a goal on a free kick vs. SOU

Joseph Bolin
Men’s Soccer- Offensive
College of Idaho’s Joe Bolin has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Bolin, a senior from Payette, Idaho, was the CCC's leading scorer from 2014 and is off to another fabulous start, scoring two goals with an assist vs. SOU, following with a goal and an assist vs. OIT...had seven goals and three assists in three games in 2015

Amber Parker
Volleyball – Attacker
Corban’s Amber Parker has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Parker, a sophomore from Albany, Ore., led Corban to first win over C of I in 11 years. She tallied 36 kills over the weekend.

Piper Cantrell
Volleyball - Defensive
Eastern Oregon’s Piper Cantrell has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
Cantrell, a senior defensive specialist from Ashland, Ore., recorded 28 digs in three wins this last week

Lauren McGowne
Volleyball - Setter
Southern Oregon’s Lauren McGowne has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.
McGowne, a junior from Coos Bay, Ore., helped the Raiders extend their win streak to 11 matches with their sixth and seventh consecutive sweeps.
She helped four attackers reach at least eight kills in just three sets both nights, and on Saturday her 37 assists led SOU to its best attacking average (.340) of the season.

Ruth Lewinski
Women’s Cross Country
College of Idaho’s Ruth Lewinski has been named the Red Lion Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Lewinski, a senior from McCall, Idaho, won her second straight individual crown, leading a 1-2-3 finish for the Lady Yotes on an extremely slow course at the Chukar Classic

Lauren Patefield
Women’s Soccer Defensive
Northwest’s Lauren Patefield has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Patefield, a junior from Puyallup, Wash., totaled 25 saves in three close games last week, all overtime contests and 306 minutes of play. Made six saves to preserve the shutout in the 0-0 overtime time tie with Hope International and 13 saves in the 1-0 overtime loss to Antelope Valley.
Made two key saves in overtime to allow the golden goal to be scored in the extra period.

Jamiece Yizar
Women’s Soccer Offensive
College of Idaho’s Jamiece Yizar has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Yizar, a junior from Pocatello, Idaho, helped C of I improve to 6-1 on the season - their best start since 2009.
She had both goals in the Lady Yotes 2-1 win over SOU, then added her first collegiate hat trick vs. OIT...leads the CCC with nine goals on the season.
Honorable mention: Mandi Achten, RMC
