Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period August 31-September 6.
Paul Adams
Men’s Cross Country
Oregon Tech’s Paul Adams has been named the Red Lion Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Adams, a senior from Klamath Falls, Ore., crossed the line in the men’s 8K at the NCU Duel with the winning time of 25:50.6, almost 15 seconds ahead of the second place finisher

Tyler Luebbert
Men’s Soccer - Defensive
Southern Oregon’s Tyler Luebbert has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Luebbert, a junior goalie from Corvallis, Ore., made three saves in SOU’s overtime win at William Jessup and recorded the first shutout in Raider history.

Kyle Zimmerman
Men’s Soccer- Offensive
Northwest’s Kyle Zimmerman has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Zimmerman, a sophomore from Bothell, Wash., totaled three goals all together in back-to-back games Spokane over the weekend including the game winner in the Eagles first win of the season against Pacific.

Mattie Jo Johnson
Volleyball – Attacker
Northwest’s Mattie Jo Johnson has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Johnson, a sophomore from Rosalie, Wash., helped lead the Eagle team to three straight victories this week including straight set victories over Pacific and Multnomah.
Johnson had an attack percentage of .522 for the 14 sets including a .917 percentage in the sweep over Multnomah with a team leading 11 kills.

Isabelle Statkus
Volleyball - Defensive
Eastern Oregon’s Isabelle Statkus has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
Statkus, a sophomore from Nampa, Idaho, recorded 12 kills in addition to nine blocks, one shy of her career high, in EOU’s 3-1 win over College of Idaho.

Waverly Green
Volleyball - Setter
Oregon Tech’s Waverly Green has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.
Green, a sophomore from Modesto, Calif., continued to stay consistent for the Owls as she averaged 47.5 assists and 9.5 digs in a pair of wins to open CCC volleyball action.

Alyssa Harmon
Women’s Cross Country
Northwest Christian’s Alyssa Harmon has been named the Red Lion Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Defending CCC Runner of the Year and sixth-place finisher at NAIA, Harmon led the top-ranked Beacons to an overwhelming win over No. 8 Oregon Tech in the NCU Invite.
Harmon, a junior from Otis Orchards, Wash., came in ahead of a 21-runner field. Harmon's time equaled the second-fastest race of her career.

Kyra Dorvall
Women’s Soccer Defensive
University of Great Falls’ Kyra Dorvall has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Dorvall, a sophomore from Helena, Mont., recorded three saves in a 1-0 win over Evergreen State.
Honorable mention: Brittany Houghton, CI
Crystal Schuder
Women’s Soccer Offensive
Eastern Oregon’s Crystal Schuder has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Schuder, a senior forward from Penticton, British Columbia, was the mainstay on EOU's offense, logging four goals and three assists.
Her one goal, two assist effort helped the Mountaineers take down Menlo on the road, 3-2.
