Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period Jan 11-17.
Omar Richards
Men’s Basketball
Northwest Christian’s Omar Richards has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Richards, a senior from San Diego, Calif., led the Beacons to a 3-0 week as NCU took sole possession of first place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Posted a career and team season-high 33 against New Hope Christian.
Shot 67% from three-point range and nearly averaged a double-double. Scored 11 points and 11 rebounds as Beacons defeated Warner Pacific at home for the first time since 2004.

Andrew Galloway
Men’s Indoor Field
College of Idaho’s Andrew Galloway has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Galloway, a junior from Payette, Idaho, broke a 6-year old school record in the weight throw at the Ed Jacoby Invite with a mark of 13.98.

Jonathan Ferguson
Men’s Indoor Track
Northwest’s Jonathan Ferguson has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Ferguson, a senior from Pleasant Hill, Ore., met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard in the 1000m event and will make his third consecutive trip to the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in Johnson City, Tenn., in March. He was the top NAIA finisher in a field comprised of a majority of NCAA Division I and II schools.

Sadie Pilgeram
Women’s Basketball
Corban’s Sadie Pilgeram has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Pilgeram, a junior from Helena, Mont., led the Corban women's basketball team to a pair of wins with two double-double efforts. Against Multnomah, she racked up a career-best 20 rebounds (3rd-highest mark ever for Corban), and scored 10 points, while in the upset win over Warner Pacific, Pilgeram totaled 12 points and 12 boards.

Hayley Morse
Women’s Indoor Field
College of Idaho’s Hayley Morse has been named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Morse, a sophomore from Boise, Idaho, broke two school records at the Ed Jacoby Invitational, including the best shot put mark in C of I history (indoor and outdoor), which hit the NAIA "A" standard at 13.55.

Tiana Thomas
Women’s Indoor Track
College of Idaho’s Tiana Thomas has been named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Thomas, a senior from Middleton, Idaho, broke C of I's school record in the pentathlon at the Ed Jacoby Invite, hitting the NAIA "A" standard...ran a personal best 2:19 in the 800-meters and a 9.24 60-hurdles on the course of the event.
