Top 25 highlights (historical information dated back to 1991):
• Morningside (Iowa) continues to the lead the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Top 25 Coaches’ Poll for the second week in-a-row after receiving all 11 first place votes and a total of 281 points.
• In the NAIA Network Game of the Week, presented by Stretch Internet, previous No. 7 College of the Ozarks (Mo.) took on then-No. 17 Haskell (Kan.), which ended in the Lady Cats holding off the Indians in an 88-81 win.
• As the only team to have an undefeated season entering last week, No. 11 Southern Oregon gained its first loss against conference opponent Eastern Oregon, 75-69, on Jan.16.
• In its fourth year as a program, No. 17 Lawrence Tech (Mich.) defeated then-No. 5 Davenport (Mich.) (64-59) to snap a 65-game home winning streak for Panthers. The win is Lawrence Tech’s first over Davenport and its first win over a top five team in program history.
• The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) and Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) continue to lead all leagues with five teams represented each.
• There are no new newcomers to the Top 25 Poll this week.
• No. 13 Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) falls sevens spots in the poll after a tough week finishing 0-2 with loses to No. 1 Morningside (86-48) and No. 5 Concordia (Neb.) (81-69).
• Moving up three spots in the rankings, No. 7 Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) continues to impress, averaging 111.9 points per game, while leading the NAIA in offense points per game, as well as nine other categories including: total assists (442), offensive rebounds per game (22.1) and total steals per game (17.8).
• No. 11 Indiana Wesleyan (14-2) has the most No. 1 rankings in NAIA history with 33. Morningside is second with 26.
• Morningside holds the active streak of being ranked in the Top 25 (119). College of the Ozarks (Mo.) streak of 112-straight is second.
• College of the Ozarks (Mo.) (2007-08), Morningside (2008-09) and Saint Francis (Ind.) (1999-00) are the only teams to go the entire season ranked No. 1.

Poll Methodology
• The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and the Association of Independent Institutions.
• The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
• The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low ratings) is removed and the team’s ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appears on.
• Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered “receiving votes”
