ASHLAND – The 11th-ranked Southern Oregon women's basketball team ticked off another first for the program in Sunday's 107-65 win against Evergreen State at Mountain Avenue Gym.

The Raiders – who on Saturday defeated Northwest, 105-73 – had never before hit the century mark on the scoreboard in back-to-back Cascade Conference games, but 55-percent accuracy from the field (40-of-73) was enough to get it done.

SOU, still up one game in first place over Oregon Tech, upped its record to 18-1 overall and 11-1 in the CCC with its 17th straight conference home victory.

Ashley Claussen scored 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting, but 61 of the Raiders' points came off the bench. Among the reserves, Kristin Smeaton logged a career-high 13 points with five rebounds, Majerle Reeves made a pair of 3-points on her way to 10 points, Toria Bradford had nine points and three steals, and Courtney Setzer went for eight points and six rebounds. Taylor Nuttall added six points and a career-high four assists, and Erin Houston had a career-best six points.

Evergreen (3-15 overall, 3-10 CCC) made all seven of its field-goal attempts in the first quarter but committed eight turnovers and trailed 22-19. The Raiders outscored the Geoducks 59-22 in the second and third quarters, and the Geoducks finished with 30 turnovers to offset a respectable 46-percent clip from the field.

Autumn Durand added 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists for SOU, while Tiani Bradford had 10 points. The Raiders hadn't eclipsed 50 percent in consecutive games in over a year before the weekend.

Their average margin of victory in six CCC home games is 38.8 points. They've won seven straight head-to-head matchups with the Geoducks.

Next Friday and Saturday, the Raiders will travel to Warner Pacific and Multnomah attempting to complete season sweeps of both teams. They'll return home Feb. 6 to face Walla Walla.
