Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period October 3-9.
Tom Kemennu
Men’s Soccer - Defensive
Evergreen’s Tom Kemennu has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Kemennu, a senior from White Lake, Mich., played a key role as Evergreen compiled a 1-0-1 record on a difficult Oregon road trip. He scored the Geoducks' lone goal on a penalty kick and helped the defense limit Southern Oregon to a single tally in a double overtime draw.
The following day he was outstanding as the Geoducks shut out (RV) Oregon Tech, limiting the Owls to eight total shots and just one on goal.

Marco Kummerle
Men’s Soccer - Offensive
Rocky Mountain’s Marco Kummerle has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Kummerle, a freshman from Pliezhausen, Germany, scored two goals in 3-1 win over #14 ranked Corban University. He also scored a goal in 1-1 tie with Northwest Christian University.

Amanda Miller
Volleyball – Attacker
Eastern Oregon’s Amanda Miller has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Miller, a junior from Kennewick, Wash., averaged 9.83 kills per set in two wins for the Mountaineers.

Ashlyn Flynn
Volleyball - Defender
Southern Oregon’s Ashlyn Flynn has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Defender of the Week.
Flynn, a sophomore from Phoenix, Ore., collected a season-high 25 digs Friday at Northwest, and just missed it with 24 more on Saturday at Evergreen.

Rachelle Chamberlain
Volleyball - Setter
Eastern Oregon’s Rachelle Chamberlain has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.
Chamberlain, a senior from Challis, Wash., totaled 73 assists as Eastern defeated Corban and Northwest Christian.

Sheyenne Brusven
Women’s Soccer Defensive
Corban’s Sheyenne Brusven has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Brusven, a junior from Silverton, Ore., led the Warriors to a pair of road wins at College of Idaho and Rocky Mountain College over the weekend, totaling six saves in the two games. Her four saves on Sunday earned the shutout.

Annouscka Kordom
Women’s Soccer Offensive
Corban’s Annouscka Kordom has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Kordom, a freshman from Windhoek, Namibia, scored the first goal in both of Corban's wins over the weekend, and on Sunday against Rocky Mountain College, she also dished out an assist in the 3-0 triumph over Rocky Mountain.
