Lewiston, Idaho – The No. 16 EOU Men’s Cross Country team looked to come out of the Inland Empire Challenge with some momentum before heading to the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships on Nov. 5. It’s safe to say they got it.
Led by junior Nic Maszk, the Mountaineers left Lewiston, Idaho with ten personal best records.
Maszk finished in ninth place, fourth, not including NCAA division one teams and set a new personal best with a time of 24:30.
Not far behind was freshman Thomas Morrell, who notched 12th without the division one teams with a time of 24:57, a personal record for Morrell.

Sophomore Jack Howard was the fifth Mountie to cross the finish line with a time of 25:29 and placed 25th.
