Lewiston, Idaho – With conference right around the corner, the EOU women’s Cross Country looked to prepare with a strong outing at the Inland Empire Challenge in Lewiston, Idaho on Saturday morning.
Junior Rachel Roelle led the Mountaineers with a 26th place finish and a time of 18:08, a new personal record.
The Mounties had other strong finishes from Freshman Analicia Alvarado and Sophomore Josie Reddington. Alvarado finished 69th with a time of 19:24 and a new personal record.
Reddington ended up two spots behind Alvarado in 71st, also with a personal record and a time of 19:26.
Sophomore Stormy Bullard was not far behind, crossing the line in 80th with a time of 19:43.
Overall, EOU finished in 10th place, with a score of 264.
In addition to Roelle, Alvarado and Reddington, EOU also had personal record from freshman Brylee Moyle (19:59) and junior Faith Homer (20:00).
