Southern Oregon Rolls Past Owls in Straight Sets

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.-  Southern Oregon University made it 28 straight over Oregon Tech with a 3 set sweep of the Owls (26-24, 25-15, 25-16) Wednesday night in Cascade Conference Volleyball at Danny Miles Court. The Raiders improve to 10-5 in CCC play and 13-9 on the season with OIT slipping to 10-11 on the year and 6-9 in conference play.
 
The Raiders continue to hit the ball well with a kill percentage of .347 while holding OIT to a .170 for the match.
 
Emma Gasman had a game high 17 kills to lead the Raiders who have now not lost to the Owls since September 7, 2005. Lauren McGowne held down the middle for the SOU with a game high
 
Oregon Tech was led by Kelsey Sampson with 16 kills and 12 digs.
 
The Owls will hit the road to Washington this weekend for a match at Walla Walla (0-14 CCC, 1-17) on Saturday at 8:00 pm. Southern Oregon will also play at Walla Walla on Friday at 3:00 pm.
