KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech erupted for three second half goals on the way to a 4-2 Cascade Conference win over Rocky Mountain Friday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Field. The Lady Owls improve to 2-7-1 in CCC play and 4-12-1 on the year with the win. Rocky Mountain falls to 4-7 in CCC play and 7-10 on the year with the loss.
 
After 43 minutes of scoreless soccer, Oregon Tech was awarded a Penalty Kick after a foul in the box on Rocky Mountain. Tech’s Karah McCulley didn’t miss, striking the PK with authority, scoring in the lower left of the net, giving the Lady Owls a 1-0 lead headed into the halftime break.
 
Leah Hippauf tied the game for the Bears in the 65th minute as she headed in a perfect cross from Mikale Miller just over the outreached hands of Oregon Tech Keeper Megan Green.
 
Tech quickly took the lead back less than a minute later as Tarryn Miyamura hit a laser from just outside the box scoring in the lower left off a nice chip from Tori Roberts.
 
The Bears answered with the equalizer in the 72nd minute as Lauryn Gamache sent a perfect corner kick across the box that was headed into the back of the OIT goal by Brittany Greenback, tying the game at 2.  
 
OIT quickly took the lead back 3-2 as Jodie Reoch put one away in the 74th minute as she got past the Rocky defense and scored from 10 feet out off a nice pass from Kylie Cowell.
 
Tech made it 4-2 in the 76th minute as Bailey Pimentel headed a nice ball in off a cross from Reoch.
 
Oregon Tech will play its final game of the season Saturday at the OIT Soccer Field against College of Idaho on senior day at 2:30 pm.
