Yotes and Owls Play to 0-0 Tie on Senior Day

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.-  Oregon Tech Lady Owls played their fourth double overtime game of the year Saturday afternoon against the Yotes of College of Idaho. While the result was a disappointing 0-0 tie, the Yotes still qualified for the CCC Post Season Tournament as they finish in 8th place with a conference record of 3-5-3 and 7-6-3 on the year. Oregon Tech’s season comes to an end with a 2-7-2 conference record and 4-12-2 overall record.
 
Before the game, OIT honored five seniors playing their final game as an Owl, they are from left to right Tori Roberts, Tarryn Miyamura, Molly Orr, Daisha Acorda, Ashlei Morgan..
 
Oregon Tech held a big 6-2 advantage in shots on goal for the game with a 14-11 edge in shots.
 
Offensively, Tech was led by Roberts with 7 shots for the game 3 on goal.
 
Summer Jackson led the Yotes with 3 shots for the game.
 
Brittany Houghton had a good day between the pipes for College of Idaho, as she was credited with 6 saves for the game with Tech’s Keeper Megan Green having 2 saves to keep the Yotes off the board.
