Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period September 26 – October 2.
Garrett Kraal
Men’s Cross Country
Northwest Christian’s Garrett Kraal has been named the Red Lion Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Kraal, a junior from Kennewick, Wash., was the top finisher from the CCC and fourth finisher from the NAIA at the Charles Bowles Invitational. Kraal missed his own NCU school record by just one second. Race featured four teams from the NAIA Top-25 and two other "receiving votes" teams.

Zach Lund
Men’s Golf
Corban’s Zach Lund has been named the Red Lion Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Lund, a junior from Shelton, Wash., won his second tournament of the 2016-17 campaign, finishing at six-under par en route to collecting medalist honors for Corban at the Warner Pacific Fall Invite. The tournament total of 213 was four strokes better than the next closest competitor.

Jonathan Morales
Men’s Soccer - Defensive
Southern Oregon’s Jonathan Morales has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Morales, a senior from Creswell, Ore., was in goal all weekend for SOU's fifth and sixth shutouts of the season. Saturday at Eastern Oregon, where the difference was an own goal, he collected seven saves -- his most of the season in a shutout.

Camilo Martinez
Men’s Soccer - Offensive
University of Great Falls’ Camilo Martinez has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Martinez, a senior from Bogota, Columbia, was a crucial playmaker in UGF's strong weekend. The senior score two of the team's 4 goals against #24 Rocky Mountain College, scoring the game's 2nd and 3rd goals. He then assisted on the team's equalizing goal in a comeback win over College of Idaho.

Amanda Miller
Volleyball – Attacker
Eastern Oregon’s Amanda Miller has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Miller, a junior from Kennewick, Wash., tallied 33 kills as the Mountaineers swept Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon. She finished with a hitting percentage of .426 on the weekend.

Holli Mullins
Volleyball - Defender
Eastern Oregon’s Holli Mullins has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Defender of the Week.
Mullions, a sophomore from Fruitland, Idaho, registered 41 digs in two wins for Eastern.

Rachelle Chamberlain
Volleyball - Setter
Eastern Oregon’s Rachelle Chamberlain has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.
Chamberlain, a senior from Challis, Wash., averaged 13.5 assists per set, finishing with 81 total assists as EOU went 2-0.

Sierra Brown
Women’s Cross Country
Northwest Christian’s Sierra Brown has been named the Red Lion Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Brown, a senior from Jacksonville, Ore., won the individual title at the Charles Bowles Invitational, leading No. 1 NCU to a win as well. Beacons defeated #2 Biola, #5 British Columbia and #6 Oregon Tech, and former NAIA power University of Victoria. Brown defeated 2015 NAIA Champion Kellian Hunt (running unattached) by 1.5 seconds and was 7.5 seconds ahead of the second NAIA finisher. She also claimed the sixth-fastest time in school history.

Noemi Ernst
Women’s Golf
Oregon Tech’s Noemi Ernst has been named the Red Lion Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Ernst, a freshman from Frankfurt, Germany, was the medalist at the Warner Pacific Invite finishing the two round tournament with a 151 total, winning the event by 4-strokes.

Megan Smith
Women’s Soccer Defensive
Southern Oregon’s Megan Smith has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Smith, a senior from Elk Grove, Calif., anchored a Raider defense that secured its third and fourth straight shutouts in conference play and sixth and seventh shutouts of the season -- already the third-most in team history.
In their first three halves of the weekend, the Raiders didn't allow WPC or EOU to put a single shot on goal. They've now outscored seven NAIA opponents 21-1 this year.

Facienne Graham
Women’s Soccer Offensive
Southern Oregon’s Facienne Graham has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
In Friday's 2-0 win at Warner Pacific Graham, a freshman from Ashland, Ore., came off the bench to score the first goal (40') and assist the second (42') for the first multi-point game of her career. And in Saturday's 1-0 win at Eastern Oregon, she came off the bench again to score the lone goal in the 43rd minute for her third goal of the season.
