BILLINGS, Mont. - October 9, 2016 - THe Rocky Mountain College men's soccer team knocked off Corban University 3-1 Sunday in Billings.

The Warriors scored first as Kemar Prince found the net at the 42:58 minute mark. The Battlin' Bears' Nolan Sherwood, a sophomore from Las Vegas, scored an unassisted goal with one second before half time.

After the break, freshman Marco Kummerle, from Pliezhausen, Germany, put the Battlin' Bears ahead for good when he scored an unassisted goal to break the 1-1 tie at the 49:28 minute mark.

Kummerle added an insurance score at the 60:33 minute mark.

The Battlin' Bears improve to 7-3-1 overall and 5-1-1 in league play, collected 18 total shots, nine of which were on goal, while holding the Warriors to five attempts, four on goal.

Rocky takes their show on the road beginning Friday, October 14, as they play at Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande, Ore. at 3 p.m. The Battlin' Bears finish up their Oregon road trip the next day at Warner Pacific University in Portland. The match is set for 9 p.m. Mountain Time.
