Rocky's women soccer blanked by Corban
BILLINGS, Mont. - October 9, 2016 - The Rocky Mountain College women's soccer team was shutout by the Corban University Warriors Sunday on Wendy's Field in Billings.
The Warriors scored at th 7:51 minute mark as Annouscka Kordon's goal found the net on a Holly Martinez Moorman assist.
After the break Martinez Moorman cashed in on a Emma Kosmla corner kick at the 47:52 mark. Lexi McQueary made it 3-0 less than 2 minutes later (49:03), when she converted on an assist from Kordon.
Rocky's goalie, Lia Unterholzner, was credited with four saves.
The loss dropped the Battlin' Bears to 5-6 overall and 2-4 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.
Rocky takes their show on the road beginning Friday, October 14, as they play at Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande, Ore., at 1 p.m. The Battlin' Bears finish up their Oregon road trip the next day at Warner Pacific University in Portland. The match is set for 7 p.m. Mountain Time.
