KIRKLAND, Wash. - Northwest University went over the century mark for the third time this season with a 129-67 non-conference victory over the Northwest Indian College tonight in the NU Pavilion.

Northwest U (7-0) put 64 points on the scoreboard in the first half on 60 per cent shooting from the field and the 3-point line. NWIC was led by Sonny Sylvester's 20 points and Dino Williams' 11 points. The Eagles from Bellingham, Wash., shot 39 per cent for the game and 85 per cent from the free throw line.

“I was pleased our starters came out focused and ready to play tonight,” said NU head coach, John Van Dyke. “They got us off to a fast start with quality play which allowed us to give some well-earned playing time to other players on the team. The effort and resolve was there for us tonight.”

NU will travel to Pacific Lutheran in Tacoma on Tuesday, Nov. 22 for their final non-league game before opening league play.
