#2 Corban Advances to Championship Game
SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Second-seed Corban earned a spot in the 2016 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Soccer Championship game, defeating #5 Carroll 3-1 in the semifinals.
Corban advanced to the championship game earning a 3-1 result over #5 Carroll. The Warriors notched two first half goals as they totaled 10 shots in the game with five landing on target. Timur Zhividze opened up the scoring in the 24th minute with an assist from Quamie Dinnall before Travez Whyte converted a penalty kick 10 minutes later.
Corban’s lead grew in the opening four minutes of the second half as Langdon Roscoe headed the ball after a free kick by Armando Guevara.
