SALEM, Ore. – For the third-straight year, the Northwest Christian University women’s cross country team won the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Championship. The No. 1-ranked Beacons showed their dominance on the course throughout the race, registering five of the top-10 runners.

Sierra Brown led the way for NCU with a winning time of 18:07.3, while Shea Vallaire took fourth place with a time of 18:49.6. Three other Beacons placed in the top-10 to garner All-CCC honors. For her efforts, Brown was named the CCC Female Athlete of the Year, and Head Coach Heike McNeil garnered the CCC Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year honor.
Placing in second as a team was College of Idaho, losing to NCU by 50 points. Oregon Tech was just two points behind the Yotes, while Southern Oregon finished in fourth place as a team. Southern Oregon’s Jessa Perkinson clocked a time of 18:26.9 for second best overall at the meet. Full results.
