NAIA Complete Standings NAIA Conference Standings
CLEVELAND – In the second set of fall NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup standings Hastings has
accumulated 288 points to gain the lead in the NAIA standings.
Westmont is in second with 231 points after finishing fifth in women’s volleyball and 9
th in women’s soccer. Mid-America Nazarene made a 16 spot jump to third with 224 points after coming in 9
th in men’s soccer, and 17
th in both women’s soccer and volleyball.
Biola is in fourth with 222 points after coming in 9
th in women’s volleyball and 17
th in women’s soccer. Oklahoma City drops one spot to round out the top five with 211 points, finishing 9
th in the women’s soccer tournament.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference has seven schools in the rankings led by Southern Oregon University in the 10th spot. Other CCC schools represnted include; The College of Idaho (14), Eastern Oregon (21), Oregon Tech (25), Corban (29), Northwest Christian (45) and Northwest (48).
The Golden State leads all NAIA conferences in the top 10 with two institutions – Westmont (2
nd) and Biola (4
th).
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and
USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. The Directors’ Cup Committee is reviewing the scoring structure for 2016-17 which will be finalized prior to the winter sports standings.
The final NAIA fall standings will be released Thursday, December 22.
