The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period Feb. 8-14.

Daulton Blackwell
Baseball – Pitcher
Lewis-Clark State’s Daulton Blackwell has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Blackwell, a junior from Fruitland, Idaho, tossed 3 innings of relief, allowing just two hits while striking out 5 to record a pair of saves on the week to keep the Warriors undefeated on the season.
 
Honorable mention: Mason Stidham, CI
 

Cole Mansanerez
Baseball
College of Idaho’s Cole Mansanerez has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Mansanerez, a junior from Blackfoot, Idaho, had three multi-hit games, running his hitting streak to 10 games
 
Honorable mention: J.J. Robinson, LCSC
 

Taylor Young
Warner Pacific’s Taylor Young has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Young, a senior guard from Hawthorne, Calif., led the Knights to a pair of wins including a comeback victory over 8th ranked Northwest Christian. The senior from Hawthorne, CA averaged 23.5 points while shooting 49 percent from the field.

Tanner Yarbrough
Men’s Indoor Field
 
Eastern Oregon’s Tanner Yarbrough has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Yarbrough, a senior from Dallas, Ore., set a qualifying mark in the weight throw and captured the event at the Boise State Challenge with a distance of 17.34.

Jonathan Ferguson
Men’s Indoor Track
 
Northwest’s Jonathan Ferguson has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Ferguson, a senior from Pleasant Hill, Ore., set two NAIA qualifying times at the University of Washington Open with the 4th best time in the NAIA in the mile this season and then establishing a new school record in the 3000m with an 8:35.19, the third best time in the NAIA indoors in 2016.
 
The old NU school record in the 3k event had stood since 2003 and Ferguson shaved nearly five seconds off his previous best in the mile he established on January 30.

Victoria Mackey
Softball - Pitcher
Southern Oregon’s Victoria Mackey has been named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Mackey, a freshman from Benicia, Calif., picked up her second, third and fourth wins of the young season at the SImpson Invitational, including two complete games in which she combined to strike out 14, walk two, allow eight hits and two earned runs.
 
Her other win was in relief; against Menlo, she was called on in the sixth inning in a bases-loaded jam with one out and immediately induced an inning-ending double play, allowing the Raiders to rally in the bottom of the inning to take the lead.

Taylor Eilders
Softball
Corban’s Taylor Eilders has been named the Red Lion Softball Player of the Week.
 
Eilders, a junior from Cameron Park, Calif., racked up a team-leading 15 hits in eight games over the weekend, scoring a team-best 12 runs while blasting three homeruns as well. Boasts a .500 average through eight games played with four RBI.

Autumn Durand
Women’s Basketball
 
Southern Oregon’s Autumn Durand has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Durand, a junior form Onalaska, Wash., pushed the Raiders to their first conference title in eight years last week, first hitting a season-high 22 points with 9 rebounds in Tuesday's win over Oregon Tech.
 
She posted 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists as the Raiders avenged their only loss Saturday against Eastern Oregon, and followed that with the most complete stat line of her career -- 11 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks and 3 steals in the clincher Sunday vs. College of Idaho.

Michelle Perez
Women’s Indoor Field
 
Northwest’s Michelle Perez has been named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Perez, a junior from Kennewick, Wash., set a new school record and hit the NAIA "B" qualifier in the long jump event and her jump of 5.40m (17'8.75") ties her for the 20th best in the NAIA this season. She broke her own NU record by 4 inches.

Amy Pfaff
Women’s Indoor Track
 
College of Idaho’s Amy Pfaff has been named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Pfaff, a sophomore from Pasco, Wash., broke C of I's 1,000-meter record in running the 4th-fastest time in the NAIA this season, while winning the mile in the 6th-fastest time in the NAIA...both new NAIA "A" cuts
