The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period Feb. 22-28.

Jake Eddy
Baseball – Pitcher
 
College of Idaho’s Jake Eddy has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Eddy, a freshman from Boise, Idaho, had a dominant performance against Corban on Saturday, going seven innings, allowing just two singles, and striking out 10 batters - a career high for the true freshman in a no decision...ranks second in the NAIA West in strikeouts

Jacob Zanon
Baseball
 
Lewis-Clark State’s Jacob Zanon has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Zanon, a junior from Beaverton, Ore., had a huge weekend, hitting .588 (10-for-17) while driving in nine runs and scoring eight more...the centerfielder was also 2-for-2 on the bases and had an outfield assist...One of his two home runs was the first grand slam of the season to help seal the 16-2 win in game one...Slugged 1.059 on the week with a .600 OBP

Jessica Holsinger
Softball – Pitcher
 
Corban’s Jessica Holsinger has been named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Holsinger, a senior from Eagle, Idaho, allowed no runs on the weekend, throwing 11 innings while striking out 13 Embry-Riddle batters, earning two shutout wins in the process. She gave up just five hits overall in the two outings.

Raimee Sluder
Softball
 
Corban’s Raimee Sluder has been named the Red Lion Softball Player of the Week.
 
Sluder, a junior from Longview, Wash., blasted three home runs, racked up four RBI, scored six runs, and totaled six hits in four games for the Warriors on the weekend, leading Corban to four wins over Embry-Riddle. She registered a weekend batting average of .600.
