Northwest Christian and Warner Pacific Battle for a CCC Men’s Basketball Championship
LA GRANDE, Ore. – The title game is set for the 2015-16 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Championship presented by U.S. Bank as top-seed Northwest Christian will host Warner Pacific tonight at 7 p.m. in Eugene, Ore.
No. 3 Warner Pacific (23-8, 16-4 CCC) at No. 1 Northwest Christian (26-6, 17-3 CCC)

After sliding past Northwest 66-60 in the quarterfinals, Northwest Christian took care of fifth-seeded Oregon Tech in the semifinals, winning 74-57. Kenny Blackwell and Jack Hackman each tallied 17 points as the Beacons avenged a season finale loss to the Owls.
Third-seeded Warner Pacific continued to have a dominating performance in the tournament, upsetting second-seed Southern Oregon 97-80 on the road in the semifinals to avoid a third loss this season to the Raiders. De’Jon Bowman finished with a game high 26 points against Southern as the Knights earned a spot in the championship game.
Both teams earned a win at home during the regular season with the Knights winning the most recent matchup 78-72 in Portland.
Northwest Christian has already clinched a spot in the NAIA National Tournament as the regular season champion while Warner Pacific will look claim the second automatic qualifier if they finish as the tournament winner.
