Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period Feb. 29-Mar. 6.
Alex Webb
Baseball – Pitcher
University of British Columbia’s Alex Webb has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
Webb, a senior from Surrey, B.C., was masterful in his March 5 start against the Corban (Ore.) Warriors. He threw a complete-game, three-hit shutout, leading his team to a 2-0 victory at Thunderbird Park. Webb struck out seven Warriors batters to earn his NAIA-best sixth victory of the season, against no losses. He also lowered his earned-run average to 1.17.

Micah Brown
Baseball
Lewis-Clark State’s Micah Brown has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
Brown, a junior from Medford, Ore., had a huge weekend hitting out of the 8 spot for the Warriors as the left fielder recorded a hit in each game of the series, to lead the team with a .471 average (8-17) with five of the eight hits going for extra bases...Scored three runs, drove in four and slugged .882 with a .500 OBP

Men’s Golf
Oregon Tech’s Montana Frame has been named the Red Lion Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Frame, a junior from Reedsport, Ore., led No. 10 Oregon Tech to the Oregon Tech Spring Invite Championship at the Eagle Point Golf Club.

Keeley Van Blaricom
Softball – Pitcher
Great Falls’ Keeley Van Blaricom has been named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week.
Van Blaricom, a senior from Southey, Saskatchewan, pitched UGF's first complete game shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over Siena Heights (Mich.) and finished the first week of competition for the Lady Argos with an ERA of 1.07.

Grace Utto-Galarneau
Softball
Corban’s Grace Uttogalarneau has been named the Red Lion Softball Player of the Week.
Uttogalarneau, a freshman from Lacey, Wash., led Corban to four wins on the week, blasting four home runs and racking up seven total RBI with seven total hits. While batting .411 for the week, she hit the go-ahead game-winning home run in the seventh inning against Eastern Oregon on Saturday, lifting Corban to a 5-3 victory.

Janelle Ferlan
Women’s Golf
Oregon Tech’s Janelle Ferlan has been named the Red Lion Softball Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Ferlan, a sophomore from Molalla, Ore., took home top-honors with a +15 (159) to lead the Oregon Tech women to a second place finish.
