Morse Breaks Two School Records at NNU Invite
NAMPA, Idaho –
Hayley Morse broke a pair of school records in the throws, while
Nichole DeGrange,
Tiana Thomas and
Amy Pfaff had stellar days on the track, as the College of Idaho women competed at the Northwest Nazarene Invitational.

Morse hit the NAIA "B" qualifying mark with her victory in the shot put, breaking the school record with her throw of 13.21 meters. The sophomore also crushed her own hammer throw record by over five meters with a mark of 43.10 meters.
DeGrange dominated the sprints, recording the fastest time in the Cascade Conference this season with a win in the 200-meters (25.12 seconds), followed by a seasonal-best time in the 100-meters (12.52) – good enough for a second-place finish.
Thomas won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.53 – improving her provisional national cut. The senior also hit the NAIA "B" standard with a second-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (14.65); hit the CCC Championships provisional mark in the 100-meters (12.60) and recorded a seasonal best clearance of 1.57 meters in the high jump.
Pfaff improved her national qualifying mark in the 1,500-meters, placing second overall in a time of 4:37.02.
Kimber Hawkins recorded a CCC mark in the 100-meters (13.12) and recorded a personal-best mark of 10.27 meters in the triple jump, with
Kami Hawkins also notching a CCC qualifying time in the 100-meters (13.15).
Claire Otero placed second in the discus (42.28 meters) and
Allison Cossins logged a personal best clearance of 2.89 meters in the pole vault.
