Jensen Leads Corban to a Women’s Golf Championship and Takes Individual Medalist
EAGLE POINT, Ore. – The Corban University women’s golf team proved whey they were the favorite heading into the 2015-16 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Golf Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, claiming the title with a team stroke total of 653.

The Warriors shot 329 the first day and 324 in the final round to win by total of 25 strokes, earning an automatic qualifier to the NAIA National Tournament scheduled for May 17-20, at the Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, Ga..
Oregon Tech finished in second place in the tournament going 352, 326-678 while College of Idaho finished third, 347, 349-696.
Corban’s Jenna Jensen finished with a tournament best 158, shooting 77 and 81 to earn the CCC individual championship.
Janelle Ferlan of Oregon Tech was named the conference’s Player of the Year after finishing with a stroke average of 79.5 in all five CCC tournaments.
Corban head coach Tom Graves earned Coach of the Year honors in his first year as head coach of the Warriors after a voting by the conference coaches.
