Southern Oregon Set to Host 2016 CCC Softball Tournament
LA GRANDE, Ore. – With the conclusion of the final regular season softball games, the field is set for the 2016 Cascade Collegiate Conference Softball Championship presented by U.S. Bank, which is slated for May 6-8.
Having earned the top spot in the West Division, Southern Oregon (34-14, 15-5 West) will be the number one seed and the host of the double elimination tournament that features six teams. The winner and the runner-up of the tournament will earn the two CCC automatic bids to the 2016 NAIA Softball World Series.
Earning the number one seed for the East Division was Carroll (24-20, 7-5 East), followed by Eastern Oregon (25-21, 6-6 East) second and Great Falls (22-16, 6-6 East) as the third seed.
Oregon Tech finished 27-18 overall, 13-7 in the West, and will be the second seed in the West while Corban (34-17, 13-7 West) is the third seed.
Game will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 6, at University Field in Ashland, Ore.

Game 1 @ 9:00 a.m. – #2 East- Eastern Oregon vs. #3 West- Corban
Game 2 @ 11:30 a.m. – #2 West-Oregon Tech vs. #3 East- Great Falls
Game 3 @ 2:00 p.m. – #1 West- Southern Oregon vs. Winner of game 1
Game 4 @ 4:30 p.m. – #1 East- Carroll vs. Winner of game 2
