NAMPA, Idaho –
A pair of freshmen tossed NAIA provisional marks in the javelin, and both junior Eric England and senior Tanner Yarbrough PR'd in their respective events as the Eastern Oregon University track & field team concluded the BSU Border Clash on Saturday afternoon.

NAIA QUALIFYING MARKS
The men's javelin saw two freshmen in Austin Kilcup and Kolton Cobb toss NAIA "B" standard marks. Kilcup took seventh overall with a throw of 56.46m (185-3.00), while Cobb launched a mark of 55.64 (182-6.00) to take ninth place.

Junior Eric England continued to soar to new heights, taking first in the long jump with an "A" standard tally of 7.22m (23-8.25). He was ultimately edged by Utah Valley's Zane Farrer and took fourth in the event. Rosenau also took fourth in the 400m hurdles after posting a "B" standard time (53.86).

Senior Tanner Yarbrough shined in the hammer throw, meeting the NAIA "B" standard mark on two heaves and hoisting a PR mark of 51.22m (168-0) to take seventh overall. Yarbrough's best effort ranked 13th in the Mountaineer record books.

In the men's pole vault, freshman Kaden Walker cleared 4.60m (15-1.00) to notch the NAIA "B" standard. He also tied for the sixth-best mark in EOU history.

On the track, freshman Jebari Cumberbatch sprinted his way to a third-place finish in the 100m dash, clocking a "B" standard time of 10.69 seconds.

The women's high jump saw junior Harley McBride tie for third overall, as she cleared 1.66m (5-5.25) to reach the "B" standard.
