Simpson however bounced back to beat OIT 7-1 in game 2 to earn the final spot in the 2016 NAIA Softball World Series at the Elizabeth & Irving Jensen Softball Complex in Sioux City, Iowa. Oregon Tech’s season comes to an end with a 30-22 record.
