Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period Apr. 25-May 1.
Bobby Wright
Baseball – Pitcher
College of Idaho’s Bobby Wright has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
Wright, a junior from Las Vegas, Nev., picked up two saves in the series vs. Simpson, giving him 6 on the season (one off C of I's single-season school record) - has not allowed an earned run in his last 10 outings, with his ERA dropping to 1.25

Jacob Zanon
Baseball
Lewis-Clark State’s Jacob Zanon has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
Zanon, a junior from Beaverton, Ore., continues to be an offensive force for the Warriors, hitting .524 (11-for-21) in five games this week including a 3-for-5 day against Central Washington where he was just a triple shy of the cycle...He registered at least two hits in all 5 games, scoring 7 runs and driving in 10 of the teams 36 RBI...Had two doubles and three home runs, slugging 1.048 on the week...He had a .565 OBP and remained perfect on the bases, adding another steal to his season.

Eric England
Men’s Outdoor Field
Eastern Oregon’s Eric England has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
England, a junior from Meridian, Idaho, posted a pair of NAIA "A" standard marks, including the top triple jump in the country with a PR mark of 16.36m.

Ryan Rosenau
Men’s Outdoor Track
Eastern Oregon’s Ryan Rosenau has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Rosenau, a senior from Cashmere, Wash., mustered the second-fastest time in program history with an "A' standard time of 14.60 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles. He also took fourth in the 400m hurdles after posting a "B" standard time (53.86).

Claire Otero
Women’s Outdoor Field
College of Idaho’s Claire Otero has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Otero, a sophomore from Caldwell, Idaho, had a huge effort in the Discus, unleashing a throw of 45.12 meters (148 feet), hitting the NAIA "A" qualifying standard with the best mark in the CCC this season - shattering C of I's school record.

Tiana Thomas
Women’s Outdoor Track
College of Idaho’s Tiana Thomas has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the week.
Thomas, a senior form Middleton, Idaho, had a monster weekend at Boise State's Border Clash, hitting 3 NAIA "A" marks...recorded a personal best time of 14.36 in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking the #3 time in the NAIA this season, while her 1:01.59 was a PR and the #4 time in the NAIA.
She ran the anchor leg in the 4x400 meter relay that hit the "A" standard for Nationals...Thomas now has Top-11 marks nationally in the 400, 100-H, 400-H, 4x400 and Heptathlon
